My account was also banned, and I'm here to tell that it is possible that your account gets unbanned.

However, taking correct approaches for that is very important.

I want to discuss two wrong approaches.

The first wrong approach is that we get very sad and start tweeting on Twitter. That is not the right approach. It is like Jaya Bachchan's Meme, isn't it? Because the people sitting there are different, and every thing has a correct process.

The second wrong approach is that when you tweet, a few scammers will reply to your tweet, asking you to contact specific people on Instagram for help, and that those people helped them as well.

[breathes in]

There are SPAMMERS and then there are SCAMMERS.

And this also brings me to the answer - someone asked me in the "foreigner SCAM" video, "What to do if this happens?"

The only answer to this is: PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. Now that you know that such things happen, you should prevent all of these things, and even if someone calls asking you to send money, then you can always say that you do not know that person, or that you will formally or legally take the necessary steps, so...

I want to discuss in three steps how you can get your account unbanned. Now, the actual steps are 2nd and 3rd, but they cannot be done without the 1st step. The first step is to understand your mistake.

See, when we're going through a bad phase, helpful people are far from us, but exploiters are the closest to us. But we don't have to fall prey to anybody. As long as you understand your mistake, which you also have to tell them in the further steps, which is why I want to discuss my own mistakes here as well, so that you can completely prevent them as well.

We're still on the first step - Understanding your mistake. Now, it can be the mistake of the Automation System as well, however, looking at your own mistake is very important.

I uploaded 3 photos within a single day on Grindr. I was probably too excited that day. And Advertisements are not allowed on Grindr's DPs or Photos. Now, people's naked photos are also there. God knows how they get approved, but that's okay. We won't look at others' mistakes, but our own.

I uploaded 3 photos, and the 3rd photo was a YouTube's Cover Photo. So, that is like an advertisement, right, which is not allowed. So, that got considered SPAM by the system, and my account got banned.

And an "account ban" on Grindr means that the phone itself gets banned. Probably that phone number too. I'm not sure about the phone number, but that phone definitely gets banned, and you CAN'T do anything at all.

[breathes in]

That is why, you shouldn't get hyper or excited [sniggers]. After every few days, for example, I, now, upload a new photo every week or every fortnight.

Quickly, let's talk about the second step. We're talking about the scenario when you get the message that your Grindr Account is banned for violating the Community Guidelines.

You can go to the Help Center even after your account gets banned, okay?

Go to Help. Go to 'Get in Touch'. Under 'How can we help?' select 'I want to appeal a ban.'. You'll have to enter your email address. Go down, and fill all the options, like Device Type, etc. You can read and fill out all the options, and then attach a screenshot, and then Submit.

Now, after Submitting, you'll get an email from their side, in which they'll ask you 3 things.

First, your Face Picture. Secondly, your email address handwritten on a paper. At least they'd asked me these 3 things. And the third is, there's a Unique ID generated with your Ban. They'll ask you for that ID. It comes on your Grindr screen itself.

The only thing here is that you'll have to give them your Face Picture. So, in a way, you're [sniggers] disclosing your identity to them, isn't it?

If you don't want that, let your account stay banned. Buy a new phone, make a new account. May be you'll have to get a new number as well.

So, if you're with sending these details, then you can. Your account will get unbanned within 24 hours.

I discussed the 3rd step within the 2nd step itself, but a very important tip here is that: whatever message you send them, it should be very precise and specific, right?

The Hate Culture that's prevalent on Twitter... the culture of denigrating each other... will not work here, okay?

When you go to their Website, fill their Forms, and request them to unban your account, you need to show a little humility, and most importantly, understanding and accepting your mistake is very very important. However, for these two things, you don't have to write long essays. This is not school.

So, precisely write the reason why you want your account to be unbanned.

Now, it may happen that you may have to exchange that message 2-3 times. It had happened in my case that I had to exchange messages 2-3 times, which is when my account got unbanned. However, that is fine.

You just have to be cool, chilled, and respectful. These are FREE platforms that you're using, so [sniggers]...

As they say, 'Beggars are no choosers'... but it's not that attitude, see, we can't walk into someone's house and question people as to why they've placed their furniture the way they have. Even though people do walk into my house and ask me why I've placed the cupboards here, and the bed there.

Even though it happens that we get angry and hyper, and we feel that I'm not entirely at fault here, others are doing so many disgusting things, but like I said, when you focus on your mistakes, and correct yourself, that is life. That is growth.
